The new Shimano Bassterra XT LRF rods have been developed specifically for the increasingly popular light rock fishing. Offering exceptional value, the fast action Full Carbon blanks are reinforced with Diaflash and have solid, sensitive tips to maximize even the smallest bites when fishing with small spinners or soft plastics. When it comes to fun, it doesn't get any better than light rock fishing (LRF). If you are the type of fisherman who doesn't let himself be influenced by the size of the fish he catches, you will surely enjoy catching the small, almost exotic fish that live all along the European coasts. With a Bassterra XT LRF in hand you can work small bait really effectively off rocks or near structures such as harbor walls or jetties, knowing that when a fish grabs your bait you will immediately see the bite on the solid top. and super sensitive mounted on both models. The full carbon blank of the Bassterra XT LRC has a fast action and is enhanced by the Diaflash construction to give the rods the right action, pop and casting performance needed when using ultralight lures. You can cast small spinners and other hard lures perfectly or alternatively fish with small rubbers close to shore with pinpoint accuracy thanks to the solid and sensitive tips. Fitted with corrosion resistant Fuji Stainless Steel Fazlite guides, ideal for thin braid or mono, all models feature a VSS reel seat and split EVA handle. Available in 4 models, from the ultra light power version (power from 0.5 to 8 g) for more delicate situations and light power 2.44 m (power from 3 to 15 g) for more demanding situations where slightly larger baits are preferred.
