Trabucco Mantis XSD is the natural evolution of its famous predecessor, significantly improved in terms of lightness and retrieval smoothness. While keeping the eye-catching aesthetics that made it a global success, this 2026 version has been mechanically optimized to provide an even more pleasant and precise fishing experience.
The core of the reel features a new bearing configuration: the 2 Long Life bearings and the one-way roller bearing are now strategically mounted on the central shaft. This technical solution minimizes internal friction, ensuring smooth and consistent rotation. Precision is guaranteed by the One Way Clutch infinite anti-reverse system and a micrometric front drag with oversized discs, capable of handling powerful fish runs with extreme linearity.
The Long Cast Superlight spool, CNC-machined from aluminum, is designed to enhance line release, while the AS (Anti Twist System) line roller works to eliminate line twist. Depending on the size, the Mantis XSD adapts to various techniques: the 4000 and 6000 sizes are equipped with an oversized T-Knob handle to offer superior leverage during heavy retrievals.
