COLMIC DRACO 8.00mt KKX-SS GUIDE

Colmic Draco marks the triumphant return of a legendary rod from the Colmic heritage, reissued by popular demand in dedicated 8-meter and 9-meter lengths. Engineered to negotiate the most extreme angling conditions, this rod was specifically developed with a ultra-rigid action, providing massive power reserves and uncompromised structural reliability.

The Colmic Draco excels across two demanding technical applications:

1. Zander (Pike-Perch) Freshwater Tactics: Optimized for static bottom fishing anchored on seatboxes or rod rests without floats, using live baitfish or large lobworms in large rivers.

2. High Coastal Breakwater & Cliff Sea Angling: The ultimate tool for targeting sea bream, mullet, and salema from elevated rock ledges or harbor walls, where anglers must dead-lift heavy fish without using a landing net.

Available  as a factory-bound edition, the ringed version comes equipped with KKX-SS anti-tangle K-type guides and a heavy-duty TS-Quality slide reel seat. Rated for casting up to 20g with an immense lifting backbone, the Draco is the definitive choice for anglers requiring maximum leverage and structural toughness.

Key Technical Achievements & Hardware

• Blank Action: Extra-stiff tip action with massive lifting power and reinforced lower sections (20g casting power).

• Available Lengths: 8.00m and 9.00m (purpose-built for extended leverage).

• Format Options: Available as Factory Bound.

• KKX-SS K-Type Guide System: Anti-tangle guide frames designed to prevent line wrap-arounds during heavy casting and lifting.

• TS-Quality Reel Seat: Precision slide reel seat delivering a rock-solid, zero-play reel fitting under heavy load.

• Reinforced Carbon Blank: High-tensile carbon construction built specifically to withstand heavy dead-lifting forces.

Strategic Advantages for Anglers

The Colmic Draco addresses heavy dead-lifting and long-reach static tactics:

• Netless Dead-Lifting Capability: The powerful rigid blank allows anglers to swing heavy fish directly up high sea walls or steep riverbanks without risking section breakage.

• Extended Reach for Zander Angling: The 8m and 9m lengths effortlessly clear marginal rocks and structures in large rivers, keeping live baits pinned in the strike zone.

Recommended Applications

• Freshwater Zander / Pike-Perch Angling: Static bottom tactics using live bait or large worms in big rivers, canals, and reservoirs.

• High-Cliff & Harbor Sea Angling (Saltwater): Heavy-duty float or trotting tactics targeting sea bream and mullet from high breakwaters requiring direct fish lifting.
