COLMIC THE ROCK STURGEON

Colmic The Rock Sturgeon is an extreme-power, specialized 4.20-meter rod purpose-built by Colmic to master freshwater giants, specifically targeting monster sturgeon. Engineered to handle heavy-duty rigs such as the classic "pippotto" float-sinker combination and massive lead weights, it represents the ultimate fusion of raw lifting power, structural toughness, and long-lever control.

Described as a true "towing hook" in every sense, The Rock Sturgeon is built to endure grinding battles against massive fish using heavy monofilament lines and oversized braided mains. Built on a heavily reinforced high-density carbon blank, it absorbs severe bending stress without structural breakdown. To maximize angler leverage and comfort during prolonged fights with trophy fish, the rod features a dual-butt configuration system: alongside the Standard Pommel, it includes an Additional Fighter Pommel. This threaded combat butt cap can be swapped in whenever needed, providing a broad, comfortable leverage point against the body or fighting belt during intense fish-pumping maneuvers.

Key Technical Achievements & Hardware

• Specialized 4.20m Structural Length: Optimized length delivering casting power for heavy lead setups and leverage control during bankside fights.

• Sturgeon-Specific Blank Tuning: Backbone engineered specifically for heavy "pippotto" rigs, massive leads, and large bait presentations.

• Heavy-Duty Line Compatibility: Guides and blank capacity rated for extreme-diameter monofilaments and high-poundage braided mainlines.

• Dual Pommel System (Standard + Fighter):

  • Standard Pommel: Classic protective butt cap for everyday use and transport.

  • Additional Fighter Pommel: Threaded extended combat cap engineered for body/harness leverage during heavy pumping.

• Ultra-Reinforced Carbon Blank: Extra-thick wall construction providing an uncompromised power reserve to stop large fish in their tracks.

• Heavy-Duty Reinforced Guides: Guide frames built for heat dissipation and braid abrasion resistance under intense drag pressures.

Strategic Advantages for Giant Fish Anglers

The Colmic The Rock Sturgeon addresses heavy freshwater combat demands:

• Ergonomic Heavy Combat Control: The interchangeable combat fighter pommel cushions the rod butt against the body, reducing pain and fatigue during long fights with fish weighing dozens of kilos.

• Stopping Power: The massive lower-blank backbone enables anglers to lock down drag and turn large sturgeon away from snags and deep lake beds.

Recommended Applications

• Commercial & River Sturgeon Angling: The definitive tool for heavy sturgeon setups, "pippotto" float rigs, and large lead setups.

• Extreme Catfish & Monster Bottom Fishing: Excellent choice for heavy catfish bottom angling or extreme specimen carp tactics where immediate stopping power is required.
