The Daiwa 21 Metallia Yari-Ika is a rod developed specifically for fishing for squid and large deep-sea squid. A project born with the aim of finding the right mix of balance, sensitivity, lightness, maneuverability and ease of use. Thanks to the Metal top tip in titanium alloy, the most sensitive bites, even in very deep waters, are transmitted with excellent sensitivity and precision. The blank can count on X45 technology, a special layer of carbon that reduces twisting in fishing. This, together with the compact and low weight guides, allows you to have a powerful but at the same time very light and fun rod to use even after many hours of fishing. It lends itself perfectly to use in combination with even small size electric reels.
The casting reported on the rod is 100-150 "Gou" (Japanese unit of measurement) equivalent to a casting of 370-560g.
