The integration of the Airdrive Design radically improves the retrieve feel. By utilizing a redesigned, highly balanced Airdrive Rotor in DS4 composite and an optimized lightweight bail arm, start-up inertia is significantly cut down, resulting in an incredibly smooth, effortless rotation. The internal gear train is securely protected inside a high-tensile Aluminum body, keeping the mechanics in perfect alignment even under load. For this LT range, Daiwa intentionally omitted non-essential internal waterproof seals: a deliberate design choice aimed at eliminating rotating friction, dropping dead weight, and delivering ultimate tactile feedback during long fishing sessions.
