DAIWA MONSTER LOVES TENTACLE SET 225 G. GREEN GOLD

The Daiwa Monster Loves Tentacle Set has been developed as a complete, performance-oriented solution for vertical fishing for large bottom predators such as dentex, groupers and amberjack. The result of an extensive development and testing process at sea, the set was designed through collaboration between the Daiwa team and experienced anglers, with the aim of optimising every component for real fishing conditions.

The selection of sinker weights, colours and rig configurations was refined through numerous field tests to deliver a versatile and reliable system suitable for different depths and environmental conditions.

The specially designed lead head profile promotes a fast, stable descent through the water column while helping the rig maintain its intended position in the presence of current or boat drift. This is particularly important when fishing at depth and accurately presenting the bait in predator holding areas identified with an echo sounder.

The set is equipped with BKK Octopus Beak hooks, selected for natural-bait applications and dependable performance during hook-ups and fights. The Kirbed design, featuring an offset point, helps improve hooking efficiency, while the Wide Gap geometry provides sufficient clearance for properly rigging bulky baits such as squid, cuttlefish and live baitfish.

Manufactured from high-carbon steel and featuring a chemically sharpened Needle Point, the hooks offer strong penetration performance and the structural reliability required when targeting hard-fighting, large fish.

The rigging configuration accommodates different bait presentations, allowing anglers to select the most suitable natural bait according to their fishing strategy and the conditions at the spot.

The system is completed by the D-FREE RIG, a Daiwa-developed solution designed to reduce resistance associated with the sinker and promote a more natural bait presentation. Increased freedom of movement allows the bait to work more naturally, an important advantage when targeting wary predators in deep water.

The rig also incorporates the Easy Change Sinker system, enabling quick sinker-weight changes without replacing the entire leader. Anglers can therefore adapt the rig to fishing depth, current strength and boat drift, maintaining better control over the presentation as conditions change.

The Daiwa Monster Loves Tentacle Set is a complete technical solution for anglers seeking precise bait presentation, versatile rigging options and dependable performance when vertical fishing for large marine predators.
