Made in France. The body of the BioTop Stick is made of Bioplastic made with renewable resources, totally biodegradable at the end of the use cycle. Bioplastic is a polymer produced with vegetable substances without the use of any petroleum derivative. Completely ecological, it does not release any harmful particles for the aquatic environment and above all, if accidentally dispersed in water, it is also biodegradable in the marine environment. The assembly of the two parts of the body is made with a heat-sealing system that completely excludes the use of glues. To achieve this welding, a stainless steel through core was inserted which also performs the important function of stabilizing the swim and reinforcing the entire lure, which for this reason is also suitable for fishing for large prey. The colors are made with mineral-based and/or organic-based dyes known to have no impact on the environment. The hooks (produced by WMC) are made of completely non-toxic stainless steel, without any external coating. The eyes of the BioTop Stick are made with two glass marbles because normal plastic adhesive eyes were not compatible with the eco-sustainability goal of the project. After various attempts, the solution of adopting two glass marbles (with zero impact) as well as aligning with the ecological aspect has allowed us to significantly increase the casting distances, guaranteeing the perfect balance and inertia of the lure during flight. This patented system also improves the Walking the Dog action of the lure by increasing the realistic swimming action of the BioTop Stick.
