Rapture Steyr is a cutting-edge spinning rod series, built around a Super Slim CX-1 Micro Pitch Carbon blank. This specific carbon layering makes the rod extremely reactive and powerful while maintaining an ultra-thin profile. The structure features a spigot joint, enhanced with alignment markers and a section ID identification system, ensuring impeccable structural consistency and a perfect mechanical match between the sections.
Components and Technology:
The rod is equipped with mid-shank K-series SiC guides, designed with a 70° tilted frame. This geometry is specifically engineered to dissipate line coils and prevent tangles during energetic casts. Thanks to the PVD surface treatment, the guides offer superior corrosion resistance, making the Steyr reliable over the long term.
Ergonomics and Design:
Comfort is provided by a high-density EVA split grip, which not only optimizes grip but also enhances the transmission of vibrations from the blank to the angler's hand. The screw-in reel seat is a masterpiece of lightness, featuring a steel safety screw and a carbon band for a stable, play-free lockdown. Aesthetic details, such as the laser-engraved Rapture logo on the EVA and aluminum inserts, highlight the technological soul of this tool.
