Shimano Beastmaster II 3000 — Power and control for deep-water electric fishing

The Shimano Beastmaster II 3000 is a next-generation electric reel designed to handle the most demanding deep-water fishing conditions. Developed for deep bottom fishing, electric jigging and retrieving from extreme depths, it combines high power, fast line recovery and electronic control in a system engineered to deliver consistent performance under heavy load.

At the heart of the Beastmaster II 3000 is Shimano's new two-speed GigaMax motor, delivering up to 20 kg of winding power and a maximum retrieval speed of 215 metres per minute. The transition between Power and Speed modes is smooth, allowing anglers to instantly adapt reel performance to different stages of the fishing process, from precise bait control at depth to rapid line retrieval.

The 25 kg maximum drag system provides smooth and consistent pressure when fighting powerful fish. E-Exciting Drag adds an audible feedback sound during drag operation, allowing anglers to immediately recognise when the drag is being activated.

The rigid Hagane Body is engineered to withstand the extreme loads generated during deep-water fishing and heavy retrieves, helping maintain internal component alignment under demanding conditions. The upgraded gearing system further enhances mechanical performance by optimising power transmission and retrieve precision.

For deep-water electric jigging, the Electric Jigging mode features three automatic settings that can be easily adjusted through the high-visibility LCD display. The fine-dot screen is designed to remain clearly readable even in strong sunlight, providing intuitive control over the reel's operating parameters.
