The Daiwa Saltiga Slow Jigging is a new line of high-level Slow Jigging fishing rods, made with hyper-light blanks by exploiting the high resistance and sensitivity offered by the HVF carbon treated with a special Nanoplus resin. This allows the Saltigas to animate even very heavy jigs in the best way. Furthermore, thanks to the special X45 FULL SHIELD carbon layer, torsion is completely eliminated, improving both the jigging phase and the fight. The Saltiga SJ are mounted with first-rate components: the reel seat is Fuji Plus specific for vertical techniques and with Fuji LRV tangle free guides in Titanium and Torzite.

The Daiwa 22 Saltiga 15L-SJ is the new top-of-the-range reel designed for slow jigging fishing, designed to achieve a perfect balance between maneuverability, lightness and strength. The great power and the reel with an excellent capacity (400 m for PE3 and 600 m for PE2) make it ideal for fishing grouper, snapper and amberjack in deep waters. The frame is of a new concept: called the "Thumb Holding Frame", its particular shape has been designed to offer maximum comfort in the grip, as well as giving the Saltiga an absolutely unique design.

The new Daiwa 21 Saltiga Casting spinning rods are rods dedicated to heavy spinning fishing, with strength and casting performance at the top of the category and designed to face the most fearsome and strong marine predators, both from shore and from the boat. The blank is made up of powerful HVF carbon blanks treated with Nanoplus resin and coated with a special layer of carbon that makes them even more robust and reduces twisting: the X45 full Shield. This new technology allows blankets to be enormously stiffer and more resistant than the traditional X45. The energy transfer along the blank is 25% more efficient, giving greater structural rigidity and resistance to torsion. The new Saltiga Casting adopts the brand new V-Joint Alpha joints: this further evolution of the famous V-Joint is built using Nanoplus resin which makes the joint even more precise and adherent, with a more harmonious action and almost zero power dispersion. The new Saltiga Air Portable series has been especially developed for fishing in the tropics for Tuna,GT,kingfish, amberjack, rooster etc., which is gaining popularity. Due to the detachable construction these rods can be carried within your normal luggage, no additional, expensive rod tube is necessary. The V-Joint spigot joint in combination with the X45 blank construction at these Saltiga rods enables the construction of nearly unbreakable, multi-sectioned blanks, which stand highest strains. All guides have been developed to provide full safety during the fight with the fish even at extreme bending curves. The powerful blank has a soft tip, which loads perfectly to cast poppers, gliders and stickbaits over great distances. The long front handle section in combination with the very powerful blank offers an optimal lever to guide also extremely strong fish to the surface uncompromisingly. Daiwa's Certate SW shares its monocoque body (MQ) with the famous 20 Saltiga. The one-piece body eliminates the requirement of a traditional side plate and screw system, replacing that with a motor plate housing the incredibly large G1 Duralumin drive gear, also shared with the 20 Saltiga. This combination of body and gear was what put 20 Saltiga on the market and is sure to set the Certate SW right at the top of the category when it comes to strength and power. Featuring Daiwa's Zaion rotor design, Certate SW is lightweight and durable. Zaion's lightweight construction makes the Certate SW spin incredibly light and responsive and also offers an end result of up to 40 grams of weight savings compared to 20 SALTIGA. Certate SW features a Magseal roll and Magseal body, which combined with the MQ construction means the Certate SW is extremely well sealed to the elements, giving anglers the confidence that Certate SW won't let them down. Sharing the same redesigned drag as 20 Saltiga, Certate SW's multi-layer carbon drag offers ten times more drag resistance than 16 Catalina. The new washer design combined with the aluminum radiation resistance knob increases heat dissipation while improving resistance performance under heavy load. Introducing the brand new Daiwa 20 Saltiga Lever Drag (LD), crafted from the ground up to meet the demands of hardcore saltwater anglers around the world. Over half a decade in the making, Saltiga LD combines everything learnt from across the globe. From the USA, South Africa, New Zealand & Australia, every bit of feedback and learning has been absorbed and rolled into what can only be described as Daiwa’s best lever drag reel ever made. It all starts with the precisely machined one-piece aluminium body and side plates. This rigid housing holds what sets Saltiga LD apart from the competition – a meticulously crafted drive gear & pinion gear made from insanely durable Stainless Steel. Stainless Steel gears are harder than brass and much more resistant to the harsh saltwater fields in which this reel will be used. Stainless Steel gearing is often criticised for lacking smoothness, but Daiwa engineers have overcome this, producing a gear set that is refined and smooth, yet more powerful & durable than anything else on the market. The 20 Saltiga LD has had improvements in all areas of the reel, addressing areas of concern that top anglers identified with lever drag reels of the past. A drag cam design that is smooth and capable of handling both braid and monofilament lines is one of the obvious improvements.
