The new Daiwa EGI TAKO X is a rod created for octopus fishing from boats suitable for use with rotating reels. It has a light structure but at the same time powerful and sensitive. The carbon stem is equipped with a particular reinforcement called Braiding X: a special layer of carbon which makes the blank more robust and limits its torsion when fishing. This makes it perfect for fighting large cephalopods and for being used even in deep areas crossed by strong currents. The tip is in fiberglass to guarantee all the sensitivity necessary to perceive even the most timid touches.
The Daiwa Metallia Egitako is a new rod for octopus fishing with a special tip in superelastic titanium alloy "Metal Top" and the lightness of the "AGS" rings creates a sharp tip that expresses maximum sensitivity even of the smallest touch signals of an octopus. The "X45" structure, which suppresses the invisible twist of the blank and increases the horsepower and operability.

When aiming for a large octopus, the elements required for a rod are ease of small lunges and large power equal to that of a large octopus. ANALYSTAR EGITAKO features a flexible tip which facilitates bottom tracking and at the same time makes it easy to hit. The X45 was adopted to obtain a power comparable to that of large octopuses. With Analystar EgiTako we have managed to merge the necessary elements to enjoy Egitako at a high level.
