The slow vertical oscillation and the worm screw work together to give rise to a maniacal arrangement of the coils of line in the throat of the Long cast spool; this positively influences both the distance and the casting accuracy, as well as the duration of the line. And it is in the heart of the spool that there is an interesting technical solution: a small hole allows you to fix the first coil of the line without resorting to the traditional knot, which would take up too much space, given the reduced depth of the spool itself. The headband is assisted by a locking system that avoids accidental closures during the launch; its closure is of the manual type. The Smart Drag clutch amazes for the immediacy of its entry into operation: with a single turn of the wing nut you can go from total tightening to full opening, or vice versa.
