The Rapala Countdown Elite 55 is a 55mm. 5g, sinking, tungsten ballast minnow for maximum flight distance. Made of balsa wood, the bait has a moderate sinking speed, having the possibility of attack even when falling. Designed with flat sides, the lure will produce excellent rolling and twitching action to show its sides, achieving maximum flash and slow fluttering action when falling. The Rapala Countdown Elite 55 features a ridged lip designed to catch water, to produce a stable dipping action, ensuring that the bait does not rise to the surface even with fast flowing downstream currents. The Countdown Elite is equipped with VMC 7554 thick wire treble hooks.
