The new Shimano Aspire Boat Slim is Shimano's flagship boat rod, specifically designed for fishing with modern braids. The thin, light and strong blanks feature a mix of Shimano's latest technologies for improved performance under extreme pressure conditions. SPIRAL X for increased torsional stiffness and HI-POWER X to minimize twist and increase strength combine perfectly to offer one of the most advanced boat rods available. Fuji Stainless Steel Braid guides with SiC inserts, a custom designed ergonomic aluminum reel seat with locking ring and an aluminum gimbal with rubber cap for fighting big fish are seamlessly mounted on the blank, which has a special moderate action, specifically developed for braided lines.
